Your HVAC system needs regular tune-ups to stay efficient, safe, and reliable. Some upkeep—like changing air filters—is simple enough to do yourself. But most of it? That’s what our licensed technicians are here for.
Here’s what we cover during a professional HVAC tune-up, and what you can do in between visits to keep things running smoothly.
When we perform an AC maintenance visit, we start by cleaning the outdoor condenser coils so your system can breathe and run efficiently. We also check refrigerant levels and pressure to make sure your home’s actually getting cool, not just blowing air. Our technicians inspect electrical components, tighten connections, and test your thermostat to ensure the entire system communicates the way it should. We’ll also check indoor airflow and inspect your evaporator coil for buildup that could cause future issues. Every detail gets covered so you’re not caught off guard on the next hot day.
Mini splits need a little extra attention, especially if you’ve got multiple zones running year-round. During your mini split maintenance, we clean the indoor units, including filters, coils, and blower wheels, to keep airflow strong and your system quiet. Outside, we check the condenser for dirt, leaves, or anything that could restrict performance. Refrigerant pressure is tested and adjusted as needed. We also make sure each indoor head is communicating properly with the remote and outdoor unit.
Because heat pumps heat and cool, our heat pump maintenance checklist covers everything—reversing valves, defrost cycles, refrigerant levels, and more. We inspect and clean both indoor and outdoor coils, making sure the system can efficiently transfer heat in either direction. Our team checks the thermostat for seasonal accuracy and verifies that the switch between heating and cooling modes is smooth.
